San Jose, Calif. – Acer America today released its Ferrari One
laptop to the U.S. market.
The Ferrari One is available now with a $599 suggested retail
price.
It is centered on an 11.6-inch LED backlit display and is powered
by an AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor running at 1.8Ghz with 1MB of L2
cache and an 800Mhz front side bus.
The unit runs on Windows 7 Home Premium and has an ATI Mobility
Radeon HD 3200 graphics processor. It comes standard with 4GB of DDR2
dual-channel memory; 250GB, 5,400 rpm SATA hard drive; digital media card
reader; 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi; integrated Web cam; and two built-in speakers.
The notebook should get about five hours of battery life out of
its six-cell lithium-ion battery, and it weighs in at 3.3 pounds.
