iLuv Bows Glow-In-The-Dark Earphones At International CES

LAS VEGAS — iLuv will launch two new lines of earphones during International CES: the BubbleGum Talk and the Neon Glow.

The BubbleGum Talk feature in-line mic and controls. They are designed to be extremely lightweight and come in blue, pink, purple, yellow, black and white for $9.99.

The Neon Glow earphones are offered with or without in-line mics and controls. They have flat cables that glow in the dark, according to the company. These will be offered in blue, green, orange, pink or white for $19.99.

Kicker Showing Cypher At CES

LAS VEGAS — Kicker will show off its Cypher in-ear headset during International CES. The headset, which will ship in the first quarter, features in-line controls with a mic that hangs at jaw level for enhanced communication.

Other details include a flat, tangle-free cable; four sets of silicone ear tips; and an included fabric storage bag.

IOGear Intros Gaming Converter

LAS VEGAS — IOGear is announcing the KeyMander for the PlayStation3, said to convert signals to replace the joystick controller. The device, which carries a $99.99 suggested retail, can map controller commands to keys on a USB keyboard and mouse.

According to IOGear, the KeyMander will improve speed; simplify access to game features; and manage detailed movements in first-person shooter, role-playing games, real-time strategy games and other multiplayer online games. Additional KeyMander PC software enables users to take advantage of such features as custom key mapping, macro programming, mouse ballistics editing and speed adjustments.

Thinium Shows Ultra-Slim Charger

LAS VEGAS — Thinium Technologies is debuting its Thinium Charge ultra-slim portable wall charger. The device is designed to lets users charge a smartphone directly from a wall without requiring a cable. It also comes with an integrated USB cable so consumers to charge from a computer or other USB source. Said to be the size of a stack of six credit cards, the Thinium Charge will be available in the first quarter for $39.99.
