Tampa Bay, Fla. – Oxygen
Audio has signed an exclusive distribution contract with Aamp of America to
market and sell several mobile audio and electronics products for the iPod and
iPhone.
The first Oxygen
Audio product to be carried by Aamp of America will be the O Car, a head unit
designed to turn an iPod Touch or iPhone into the faceplate of an RDS-equipped
AM/FM car radio. Aamp of America is expected to begin selling the O Car in late
July for a $299 suggested retail.
The O Car was first introduced by Oxygen Audio
during International CES in January.
