4K TVs Are Among Panasonic CES Debuts

LAS VEGAS – Panasonic will attend International CES, here, this week to debut several new products and technologies at its Central Hall booth, No. 9806.

While Panasonic did not provide product specifics at press time, the company said in a statement that it would introduce 4K TVs in its Viera line with smart-TV features, and present in 4K technologies “a diverse array of new professional applications” including “a wide spectrum of new possibilities for the 4K business fields, and showcase the latest 4K products and technologies for the consumer market.”

In late December, Panasonic and Sony announced in Japan it would end their joint venture on OLED TV panels.

In digital imaging products, Panasonic will present its Lumix G-series single-lens mirrorless cameras, compact cameras and camcorders.

In audio, Panasonic will add wireless audio, mini component stereo systems, theater systems and headphones.

And Panasonic is set to debut its car audio systems developed through collaboration with major audio brands, airline and airplane entertainment systems, additions to its Toughbook notebook PCs and tablet line, security cameras and digital signage.
