Walmart, which has been offering a three-day shipping program for $50/year, is looking to close the gap with Amazon Prime by cutting deliveries by a day. To do so, the world’s largest retailer will leverage its dedicated e-commerce mega-warehouses and is looking to partner with regional carriers. The $49/year pilot program starts today by invitation only.
