Target Opens A Holiday-Themed Retaill Playground In NYC

The 16,000-square-foot pop-up toy store, located in Manhattan’s trendy Meatpacking District, is testing customer RFID tags and other interactive digital features for possible deployment chain-wide.

“Over the years, Target Corp. has pulled a lot of stunts to generate buzz in New York City – from building a life-size dollhouse in Grand Central Station a couple of years ago to perhaps most memorably setting up a temporary holiday store on a boat docked on the Hudson River more than a decade ago.”
