Signs Of Life At RadioShack

The first new RadioShack store to appear post-bankruptcy has opened for business in Baraboo, Wis. The franchised location joins the 425 independently-owned RadioShacks and 70 remaining company stores that survived the chain’s second Chapter 11 filing in two years. Previous owner General Wireless sold the business to RadioShack investor Kensington Capital Holdings last month for $15 million, but plans to continue running the chain under license while it sorts out its bankruptcy in court.
