Pioneer Corp. Q2 Turns To Profit In Q2 But Lowers FY Sales Outlook

Pioneer is getting healthy again as it focuses on OEM and aftermarket car electronics. Selling off the AV and DJ businesses may have been the right move for the company.

“Japanese car electronics maker Pioneer Corp. (PNCOF.PK) reported that its second-quarter net income attributable to owners of the company was 520 million yen, compared to net loss of 345 million yen a year ago. Net income per share was 1.42 yen, compared to net loss of 0.94 yen last year.”
