If brick-and-mortar is dead, how come digital companies are opening so many stores? The most recent comes from Google, whose latest physical manifestation is a New York City pop-up shop that will showcase the company’s new Made by Google smart-home speaker hub, VR goggles, Pixel phones and router when it opens next week in SoHo.
