Google Retail Alliance Targets Amazon

Target is deepening its year’s-long shopping partnership with Google. The expansion will allow the discounter’s customers to order by voice via Google Assistant, and could conceivably extend to augmented and virtual reality. Google has already enlisted Costco, Walgreens and Walmart in its Google Express shopping platform, in what is seen as a collective counteroffensive to Amazon.
