Google will block access to YouTube via Amazon’s Fire TV and Echo Show devices beginning Jan. 1. The search-engine giant says the move is in retaliation for Amazon’s refusal to sell Chromecast and Google Home Products and for making Amazon Prime Video un-Google Cast-able.

“If you've got an Amazon FireTV, say goodbye to using it to watch YouTube.”
