Best Buy's Joly: There's Room For More Than Just Amazon

While the demise of such chains as RadioShack and hhgregg has lent Best Buy a helping hand in its battle against Amazon, retrenchment can’t take all of the credit. Best Buy has been dedicated in its efforts to invest and grow — including its new tech-support and service programs — and CEO Hubert Joly told Reuters he doesn’t believe this is a “winner-takes-all” situation.

"Best Buy has completed a five-year turnaround and is ready to compete with market leader to prove U.S. retail is not a “winner takes all” situation, Chief Executive Hubert Joly told Reuters on Friday."
