Best Buy Disconnecting From Vivint?

Best Buy has reportedly cut the cord with Vivint.

Best Buy has reportedly pulled all Vivint connected-home products from its stores and dismissed the company’s hundreds of on-site sales personnel. The retailer began partnering with Vivint last year on smart-home installation bundles and subscription-based security monitoring services, but now may shift those duties to its in-house Blue Shirt and Geek Squad staffs.

“Best Buy Co. is re-evaluating its year-old partnership with Vivint Smart Home, according to people familiar with the matter.”
