Suitor Qi Jianhong, who heads B&O’s Asia distributor Sparkle Roll, said he has yet to overcome unspecified obstacles.
“Denmark’s Bang & Olufsen A/S has disclosed the name of its suitor, saying Qi Jianhong, a Hong Kong investor who heads a luxury-goods distributor, is in talks to buy the maker of high-end audio equipment. The Danish company is currently valued at about 3 billion Danish kroner, or about $450 million, on the stock market.”
