Target has resumed selling Amazon's Kindle and Fire devices this week, four years after they were shown the door. According to the author, whatever short-term gains the tablets and e-readers may afford the discounter may be more than offset by long-term customer attrition, as shoppers learn the benefits of Prime membership through these primarily Prime-centric Trojan horses.
