Warren Mann, Mike Tierney Join New Leaf

Irving, Texas — Industry veterans Warren Mann and Mike Tierney have joined warranty-plan provider New Leaf Service Contracts as directors of national sales and marketing.

Mann had previously served as an appliance senior VP for Haier America and before that headed the MARTA Cooperative buying group. He also worked as group director of the NATM buying organization and prior to that was senior VP of Sansui Electronics.

Tierney has similarly logged more than 30 years in the industry as president of Uniden America and in sales positions with VTech, Siemens, Cobra, U.S. Robotics and Sony Electronics.

The two are joined by Lance Partridge, who joins New Leaf as regional sales manager from the Nationwide Southwest chapter of the Nationwide Marketing Group, where he worked as a field coordinator.

New Leaf president/COO Rick Gavino said the sales team expansion was prompted by rapidly increasing demand for the company’s customized service contracts and administration programs. He said the tailored programs and New Leaf’s exemplary customer service are “driving the company’s unprecedented and accelerating growth rate.”

Added CEO Sean Hicks, “Our new and expanded all-star sales team has the depth and breadth of experience needed to work directly with clients — retailers, manufacturers, distributors — to create value-added programs that reinforce customer loyalty and value for the clients’ brand.”

New Leaf administers and markets extended-service contracts for CE, majaps, furniture, fitness equipment, LED lighting, musical instruments and other consumer products that are backed by A-rated insurance carriers.
