Voxx Combines Vehicle Groups, Led By Joe Dentamaro

Voxx Electronics announced it will combine its vehicle security, remote start and telematics group with its advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) group.

The new group, based on Troy, Mich., will be the vehicle safety, security and convenience group. It will be led by VP Joe Dentamaro, who previously headed the vehicle security, remote start and telematics group.

Shane Wilson, who led the ADAS group, has been promoted to assistance VP of the new group, a new position. Dan Bisceglia was promoted from the technical service department to join the new group as product manager. He will relocate to Troy, joining current product managers Paul Burdick and Michael Lynch.

“As we continue to develop new and innovative mobile electronics products for the mobile electronics aftermarket, we saw a perfect opportunity to bring together two separate groups and combine the knowledge and expertise of both into one cohesive team,” said Aron Demers, Voxx Electronics senior VP. “Together, these two groups have a tremendous amount of synergies and will provide Voxx with an incredible amount of growth for this new group as well as the opportunities this will bring to our dealer partners for years to come.”

The Troy facility also houses the OEM engineering and product test group. Voxx said it plans to expand the group to include additional members to the team for field applications technician and trainers.

Voxx Electronics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Voxx International.
