Verizon’s McAdam To Keynote CES

Arlington, Va. — Lowell C. McAdam, chairman and CEO of Verizon Communications, will deliver a keynote address at the 2013 International CES.

CES will be held in Las Vegas Jan. 8-11, 2013. McAdam’s keynote address will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, in the Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom.

“As a world leader in providing innovation in communications, mobility and entertainment, Verizon’s success comes from the key role it plays in the lives of consumers,” said Gary Shapiro, CEA president and CEO. “We are excited to bring Lowell McAdam to the CES keynote stage to share his vision for the future of expanded access to technology, empowering consumers around the world.”

McAdam succeeded Ivan Seidenberg as CEO on Aug. 1, 2011, and as chairman on Jan. 1, 2012. He currently oversees the operations of Verizon Communications, including all business units and staff functions.
