Joel Silver, founder of Imaging Science Foundation (ISF), visits the Draper booth for a meeting with Penny Sitler, Draper’s director of marketing. All of Draper’s TecVision surfaces are ISF certified for color accuracy. “The screen is an integral part of the system and is just as important as the projector,” said Silver, who added that he considers Draper to be “a member of the family.” (image credit: John Staley)

Kaleidescape CEO Tayloe Stansbury shows off the company’s new compact Terra 12 movie server, which allows clients to download feature-length 4K movies in as little as 10 minutes on a gigabit internet connection. According to Modus VR, the future of AV sales is virtual, and the company’s new features make a good argument for that. Demos at the booth include Modus Photo, which helps dealers create beautiful images of their projects instantly, and Modus Doc, which lets dealers create line drawings from the rooms created in Modus VR.
