CE accessory manufacturer Pelican Products has named Terri Schiek as sales VP of its U.S. consumer sales division.
Schiek will be tasked with all sales efforts in the consumer division, with the exception of consumer electronics. Her mission, said Pelican, will be to significantly build the company’s national accounts business while expanding its grassroots retail business.
Schiek most recently, she served as sales VP for Hobbico, a manufacturer of toy, hobby and remote control products. She’s also held positions with THQ, Hasbro Interactive, Spectrum Holobyte, Tonka and Unilever.
“Terri’s extensive experience and consumer/retail market knowledge offers invaluable insight that will help us to continue to build out the line of legendarily reliable products and services that our customers have come to rely on,” said Bob Shortt, Pelican’s president of the consumer division. “I’m confident that her seasoned leadership and talent for relationship building will be a great asset to our strong existing sales team.”
