Retail veteran Robert H. “Bob” Neill died after a brief illness last month. He was 63.
Born Sept. 23, 1955, in McMinnville, Ore., Neill graduated from Southern Oregon University. He held a variety of merchant, product development and sourcing positions at such consumer tech retailers and department stores as Sears, JCPenney and May Co.
“Bob was a natural-born leader, mentor and loyal friend,” his family said in a statement. “He had an innate way of making everyone around him feel special. He had an easy-going personality and loved life. He was a great husband, father, and brother and will be dearly missed.”
Neill is survived by his wife of 35 years and their son, Christopher.
