D&H Distributing announced it has promoted Trevor May to the position of Vice President of Purchasing, US & Canada today. May joined D&H in 2017 as Executive Director, Vendor Management to oversee D&H’s housewares and consumer electronics business, after a decades-long career with several major national retailers.

“I’m thrilled to continue leveraging my skills as part of the talented team at D&H, extending my role across both the IT and CE markets, and also across North America,” said May in a statement. “I look forward to seeing that translate to greater value for the company’s community of partners.”

“As Trevor’s tenure has progressed at D&H, we’ve been impressed with his ability to optimize purchasing operations, to deliver products to our customers on-time and when they need it, resulting in an industry-leading customer experience,” said Tim Billing, senior vice president of vendor management and purchasing at D&H in a statement. “We’re happy to see his position continue to expand as D&H grows, and as we work to create more superior business experiences for our partners.”

Most recently, May was overseeing D & H’s company-wide purchasing team, implementing tools to assist in exceeding customer fill-rate requirements and being first-to-market in delivering the newest products and technologies to thousands of D&H’s loyal customers. He is tasked with further improving the partner experiences and ease-of-doing business with D&H.
