Lou Gervolino, Former PacBell President, Dies

CE industry veteran Lou Gervolino Sr. passed away this month. He was 75.  

Gervolino, born June 10, 1940, began his career with Revlon. He moved to ITT in 1975, where he was a founding member of its consumer camera and flash division, Gervolino’s son told TWICE. After the divestiture of the Bell operating companies in the 1980s, Gervolino became a founding member of the consumer telephone division of ITT, and he later became president of Pacific Bell’s consumer phone division.

He consulted for various companies until he retired in 2006.

Gervolino is survived by his wife Anne Marie, five children and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, at Graham Hitch Mortuary in Pleasanton, Calif., from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at St. Isadores Catholic Church in Danville, Calif.
