Lenbrook International, parent to the Bluesound, NAD Electronics and PSB Speakers audio brands, announced a series of management changes on Tuesday, including the transition of chief brand officer John Banks and Lenbrook Americas president/CEO Dean Miller from full-time operational positions to members of Lenbrook’s international board.
The pair have worked with Lenbrook International president/CEO Gord Simmonds for over a year on the transition and to build a new senior team, according to a press release from the company. The new team, which consists of newly promoted Lenbrook employees who will operate from the global headquarters just outside Toronto, includes June Ip as marketing VP for Lenbrook International, David Cain as sales and commerce VP, and Agata Mossop as channel development VP.
Mossop will also provide brand management for “non-Lenbrook owned” audio distribution in North America, currently consisting of Bang & Olufsen Play and Tivoli Audio.
Said Simmonds: “Succession planning, longer-range management development and team building are important parts of our company’s culture. As some of our valued leaders take a step back from their daily operational responsibilities, we have put ourselves in the fortunate position to be able to promote talented individuals that can capably assume the reins of leadership at Lenbrook. We have no doubt that these changes will bring an infusion of fresh energy and new ideas to continue us on our successful path.”
The company is currently seeking a North American sales manager to lead sales development of Lenbrook-owned and non-Lenbrook owned brands throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The Lenbrook Group of Companies is a privately held Canadian corporation that owns the NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers and Bluesound brands. Lenbrook Americas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lenbrook International, is responsible for the sales and marketing of NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers, Bluesound and B&O Play in the U.S. and Canada. Lenbrook also distributes Tivoli Audio in Canada.
