Klipsch announced it is the official home audio partner of the movie “Deadpool” on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD download and 4K Ultra HD.
“Deadpool,”starring Ryan Reynolds and directed by Tim Miller, was the third highest-grossing film of 2016. It will be released for home viewing on May 10.
Said Klipsch: “Deadpool’s snarky humor and irreverent attitude align perfectly with the Klipsch brand. Klipsch has a similar tone of voice, as ‘Pissing Off The Neighbors Since 1946’ and ‘Stop Buying Crap Audio, It’s Embarrassing’ have become their catch phrases over the years.”
Over 70 A/V retail and online partners will have access to Klipsch/Deadpool point-of-purchase materials and the movie trailer. An accompanying “Wanna Win My Package?” consumer sweepstakes will run until June 30 on Klipsch.com/Deadpool and social-media networks, giving consumers the chance to win a Klipsch Reference R-20B soundbar and “Deadpool” Blu-ray disc.
