Klipsch Group Makes Another Change, Appoints Greg Ransom At Jamo

Klipsch Group announced another organizational change, this one creating the position of national sales manager for the Jamo speaker brand.

Greg Ransom was promoted to the position after serving as major accounts manager for Klipsch Group.  He has been with the company for seven years, and before joining Klipsch, he was owner and operator of HiFi 4U Inc. retail stores for more than 16 years. He has more than 33 years of consumer electronics industry experience in sales, operations and management.

“It’s a new position as we focus on the success of the Jamo brand,” a spokesperson told TWICE.

Ransom will “lead Jamo’s strategic vision and plan, collaborate with and advise key partners like Power House Alliance, as well as manage the day-to-day sales management for Jamo,” the company said.

Earlier this month, Klipsch announced the creation of a digital speaker division and appointed former SMS Audio executive Steve Jain to run it as VP/GM of digital, streaming and portable audio solutions.

That appointment followed an announcement in late September that Klipsch combined the leadership of its home speaker business and its commercial and cinema businesses with the promotion of Rob Standley as VP/GM of a combined division.

Also in September, Klipsch announced that Oscar Bernardo, with Klipsch since 2006, was named COO. He was previously president of global operations.
