Klipsch Group Continues To Reorganize

Klipsch Group continued to reorganize with the appointment of industry veterans Chad Vogelsong and Dusty Thomas to newly created positions.

Vogelsong becomes senior director of product and channel marketing for the digital, streaming and portable audio solutions division. He will work with global accounts to launch products and drive sales at retail in stores and online. Vogelsong’s 20 years in the consumer electronics market includes roles at Monster, Harman Kardon and JVC.

Thomas becomes cinema sales manager for North and South America as well as channel marketing specialist for the component-audio solutions unit. He brings more than 12 years of experience in cinema technology sales and marketing, cinema industry projection, and marketing consultation. He previously served in sales, business development and marketing positions at Datasat Digital Entertainment, QuVIS, Imagemakers and Strictly Social Media.

In October, Klipsch Group announced the creation of a national sales manager for the Jamo speaker brand and the appointment of Greg Ransom to fill the position.  Also in October, Klipsch announced the creation of a digital speaker division and appointment of former SMS Audio executive Steve Jain to run it as VP/GM of digital, streaming and portable audio solutions.

In late September came the announcement that Klipsch combined the leadership of its home speaker business and its commercial and cinema businesses with the promotion of Rob Standley as VP/GM of a new division.  Also in September, Klipsch announced that Oscar Bernardo, with Klipsch since 2006, was named COO. He was previously president of global operations.
