Kensington’s Ben Thacker has been named VP and general manager of the accessories manufacturer, with responsibility for leading global product management, development and supply chain, and U.S. sales and marketing for the Kensington and OEM channels.
Thacker joined the company in 2013 and was previously head of global product management and U.S. sales and marketing. He led the transition to a new product development center while setting up a new product development team in Taiwan. Last year he also assumed all global marketing responsibilities across the Kensington business.
Thacker held positions with Belkin and Asus before joining Kensington, and will continue to be based at the company’s San Mateo, Calif., facilities.
