Brooklyn, N.Y. — J&R Music World veteran Jack Wahrman has joined Tri-State Camera, Video and Computers as marketing VP.
Wahrman was J&R’s first employee, and last served as senior merchandising manager after 41 years with the now defunct dealer. He left the company last year to found Inferno Market, a Brooklyn-based direct-seller of A/V, computers and home products, which he has since handed off to his children.
In his new role, Wahrman will create marketing initiatives for Tri-State, a 37-year-old specialty dealer headquartered here, and will also bring in new lines, categories and products.
“I love the opportunity to see new products being launched,” he told TWICE. “I really enjoy making a good product even better.”
