James (Jim) DePaul Announced As Executive Vice President Of Stores, JCPenney

DePaul to focus on improving in-store and omnichannel operations

JCPenney recently announced James (Jim) DePaul as the new executive vice president of stores, replacing Mike Robbins, executive vice president of stores and supply chain. DePaul reports directly to Jill Soltau, chief executive officer. DePaul has nearly 25 years of retail experience, most recently serving as chief operations officer at Shopko Stores. He also served as chief administrative officer and senior vice president of stores and operations for Shopko stores.

DePaul is tasked with improving in-store and omnichannel operations as part of the JCPenney’s focus on transforming the customer experience to grow traffic, engagement and customer retention.
