New York — Haier America revealed Thursday a reorganization of its digital products group for the Americas, adding a slate of promotions and new sales and marketing personnel.

“Our team of talented, experienced, and trusted people will enable Haier to execute with greater success on our channel and distribution strategy and signifies a refreshed focus and commitment to serving our customers,” stated John Homlish, Haier digital products group sales and marketing senior VP. “This is an investment in the growth of our consumer electronics business and brand for the remainder of this year, 2014 and beyond.”

Joining the marketing team is longtime industry veteran Bruce Fairchild, who becomes the new product marketing VP. Fairchild will lead all product marketing strategy, planning, pricing, promotion and demand planning functions. He has an extensive background in P&L management, market identification, product planning and strategy and multichannel product distribution, coming to Haier from Sharp, where he was product marketing, channel marketing and planning senior director. He also formally served as Toshiba America’s digital displays product marketing manager.

Ken Ayukawa has been promoted to Haier product planning director, responsible for building an innovative product line and strategy for television and home entertainment. He reports to Fairchild.

Claude Frank, another longtime industry veteran, will join Haier America as sales, distribution and special markets director. The former Klipsch, Samsung and Toshiba executive will be responsible for developing and managing Haier’s business with distributors, buying groups, the military, premium and special markets. Most recently, Frank was LG Electronics home electronics sales, regional buying groups and distributors director.

Stan Swinden has been promoted to Haier America Canadian sales director, reporting directly to Homlish.
