Robert Rogers, a 23-year-veteran of GE Appliances, has been promoted to sales VP at the Haier-owned company.
Rogers joined the business in 1994 from Maytag, where he served as a district sales manager. Climbing the sales, marketing and merchandising ranks, he rose to general manager, strategy and market development, before his latest advance.
In his new role, Rogers “will focus on elevating GE Appliances’ brand commitment to put owners at the center of every company decision, including leading voice of the market initiatives, identifying sales opportunities and facilitating cross-functional team collaboration,” the majap maker said.
Added chief commercial officer Rick Hasselbeck, “Robert will play a key role in not only ensuring we are listening and applying customer and owner feedback to everything we do, but also leading the best sales team in the industry to do the same.”
His promotion follows that of industry veteran Kevin Dexter, who was given super-premium responsibilities last month as president of Fisher & Paykel North America and Monogram.
