
Salt Lake City — Home-automation supplier Control4 posted a 13 percent gain in second-quarter revenue and doubled its net income.
Revenue grew 13 percent to $36.7 million in the second quarter and 16 percent in the first half to $59.1 million.
Net income grew 100 percent to $2 million in the second quarter, and first-half net income hit $1.5 million compared to a year-ago net loss of $500,000.
For the first quarter ending March, the company posted a 19 percent revenue gain to $31.9 million and reduced its net loss to $539,000 from a year-ago net loss of $1.47 million.
For fiscal 2013, the company posted a 17 percent gain in revenues to $128.5 million and net income of $3.5 million, which contrasted with a 2012 net loss of $3.7 million.
