Attendance at CES Asia 2017 grew nearly 14 percent from last year’s show, according to the results of an independent audit commissioned by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA).
CTA, which produces the show in conjunction with Shanghai Intex, said total attendance was 38,531, including 1,258 members of the media, from 78 countries, regions and territories. This is up 13.7 percent from 2016 and up 34 percent from 2015. The show spanned 20,637 net square meters and hosted 464 exhibiting companies.
CES Asia 2018 will return to Shanghai for a fourth year on June 13-15, 2018, and nearly 200 companies are already committed to exhibit, said CTA. It added that exhibit sales are up 22 percent from this same time last year.
Registration will open in early 2018.
