Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) will hold its first WICT Signature Luncheon at CES, Friday, Jan. 6.
Highlights of the luncheon program include a Power Panel of Diversity Champions, led by host and moderator, Catt Sadler, “E! News” co-host. Panelists include: Mindy Grossman, CEO of HSNi; Sandra D. Rice, senior VP of national recruitment and leadership development for the Emma L. Bowen Foundation; and Claire Smith, coordinating editor for ESPN’s universal news group.
Closing keynote remarks will be delivered by David L. Cohen, senior EVP and chief diversity officer for Comcast Corporation.
The WICT Signature Luncheon will make its CES debut at the Aris Hotel in Las Vegas, home to the C Space exhibit program which focuses on the advertising, content, entertainment and marketing communities.
Comcast NBCUniversal serves as the Premier sponsor of the luncheon, Accenture and Neustar serve as Champion Sponsors, and the Walter Kaitz Foundation serves as the Industry Partner.
“We’re thrilled to bring this accomplished group of leaders to our Signature Luncheon program. Each offers important insights on diversity and inclusion, as well as gender bias in the workplace. We expect to raise awareness and provoke discussion among the CES audience,” said Maria E. Brennan, CAE, WICT president and CEO.
