Hauppauge, N.Y. — Audiovox Electronics announced Dan Murphy has joined the company as telematics solution VP.
Murphy will be responsible for overseeing all location-based services programs, including Car Connection and its derivatives in the company’s connected lifestyle category.
Audiovox is a wholly owned subsidiary of Voxx International.
Murphy has previously held positions at Sony Electronics and XM Satellite Radio. He was mostly recently at Sureal SOS, a consumer emergency-response start-up.
