It’s been a little over a year since John Riddle retired from LG Electronics as senior VP of home appliances and air solutions USA.
But there’s no moss growing under this industry veteran’s feet.
Leveraging his six years at LG, nearly 22 years at Maytag, and subsequent relationships with major national, regional and independent appliance dealers, he’s opened John Riddle Consulting Group to help provide marketplace entrée for makers and sellers of majaps, CE and other consumer durables.
Services include new business development and sales representation, plus business planning, investment research, organizational leadership, and public speaking and seminar presentation.
Riddle began his career in white-goods at Riddle’s Appliance, his father’s Pennsylvania white-goods business, and closed out his corporate chapter by testifying on behalf of LG before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) in its safeguard washer action.

In between, he held 10 different leadership roles at Maytag, served at Philips, Fleetwood, Electrolux and Hisense, and helped grow LG’s U.S. majap business from $1.5 billion to nearly $4 billion, the consultancy noted.
