
One headphones company said it will cease sales to North Carolina until House Bill 2 is repealed.
1More, which is based in San Diego and manufactures headphones, said it will not process orders from its website to North Carolina addresses until HB2 — also known as the Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act — is repealed.
The boycott will apply only to proprietary sales, David Kellogg, brand strategy and development director, told TWICE. The company also sells through Amazon, but is “unable to control third-party resellers,” he said.
Other tech companies, including Apple and Intel, have spoken out against both the N.C. bill and a similar bill in Mississippi.
