Get On The Bus

Griffin Technology is taking a page from Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters in anticipation of International CES.
A team of employees of the CE accessory manufacturer will depart from Nashville, Tenn., (its home base) on Dec. 30, in a restored 1972 Volkswagen Westfalia mini-bus, and is scheduled to arrive in Las Vegas in time for the show on Jan. 7. Along the way, of course, the group plans to meet with Griffin fans.

Griffin said the itinerary includes New Orleans, Houston, Phoenix and the Grand Canyon, among other cities. The trip will come to a close at the show floor of CES, with the bus arriving at the company’s booth.

The five-person Griffin team will document the journey through a Web site, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube.

One can guess the swag will be of a much different sort than Kesey’s.
