Senator Lindsey Graham was on hand at an event to celebrate the milestone, saying the imaging firm “has done wonderful things for South Carolina over the last 20 years.”
Shigetaka Komori, Fujifilm president/CEO, observed that since the company dropped anchor in S.C., its business has changed dramatically: Before 2000, 40 percent of Fujifilm revenue and 60 percent of its profits were generated from photo imaging products, such as color film.
