Cobra’s IP 200 Dash Cam With Motion Detection Now Available

G-Sensor detects collisions and automatically begins recording
By TWICE Staff ,

Cobra Electronics has begun shipping its newest dash cam, the Instant Proof (IP) 200.

A windshield-mounted camera, the IP 200 records 1080p video with a 120-degree viewing angle. Continuous loop recording captures and stores footage in three-minute segments; the camera will automatically delete old recordings once the memory card becomes full.

Clips can be manually saved by pressing the File Lock button, and a G-Sensor detects sudden accelerations and collisions and automatically protects footage surrounding the incident.

If the car is parked and motion is detected, the camera will wake up and begin recording. The camera also automatically starts recording upon powering up.

The IP 200 is packaged with a 4GB MicroSD memory card, vehicle power adapter and suction-cup windshield mount so the unit is ready to use out-of-the-box.

Suggested retail is $59.95.
