How Best Buy Is Using Alexa Against Amazon

Shopping by voice is still in its infancy, but Best Buy has “stolen the show” this holiday season with the most effective use of Amazon’s Alexa platform. According to managed analytics firm Ugam, the CE chain leveraged the virtual assistant to hawk higher-margin, private-label products which undercut similar items on Amazon by upwards of 14 percent in price.
