The SC-MX20 replaces the MX10 and features a recording mode to optimize video for uploading to YouTube or multimedia devices.

The MX20 records 720 by 480 video to SDHC cards using H.264 compression.

The camcorder features a 34x optical zoom lens, 3D Noise reduction, image stabilization, face detection (up to five faces) and a 680K CCD sensor.

Additional features include a 2.7-inch LCD, the company's iCheck mode for monitoring remaining battery life, and iScene mode for choosing up to 10 preset scene modes.

The camcorder will be sold in black, red, white and blue for $279.
