LG Tips Off Final Four Sponsorship

ENGELWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. –

LG Electronics said it
will once again be a corporate sponsor of the NCAA
Men’s Basketball Final Four in New Orleans next
month.

For the third consecutive year, the company will host
a number of fan events providing hands-on opportunities
with LG’s TVs, major appliances and smartphones.

A central part of the effort includes a “Home Court
Challenge” at 2 p.m. CT April 1 at Bracket Town in
New Orleans that will pit stars of the 1992 Duke vs.
Kentucky Regional Final contest in a household chores
contest using LG products.

The contest between Bobby Hurley from the Duke
’92 team and Travis Ford from the Kentucky ’92
roster will by scored by CBS Sports analyst Greg
Anthony, who is a key spokesman for LG’s 2012 ad
campaign.

Anthony will also appear in LG’s “Do March Right”
TV commercials that will begin airing this month within
March Madness coverage on CBS, TBS, TNT and
truTV.

Final Four and LG fans will have the opportunity
to enter LG’s “Do March Right” sweepstakes for a
chance to win a trip to the 2012 NCAA Men’s Final
Four or various LG products.
