3 Pico Projectors Added To Epoq Line

Paradigm Shift U.S., based here, said it is now shipping three Epoq Multimedia-branded miniature Pico portable projectors and said it is now recruiting dealers and distributors worldwide to carry its lines.

The new projectors, which are all available now through a limited-time exclusive on the www.amazon.com and www.gadgetcraver.com Web sites, include the EPP-CP01, EPP-HH02 and EPP-HH03.

The EPP-CP01 ($449 street retail) is billed as one of the first pico-sized projectors to offer SVGA 800 by 600 native resolution. It will offer a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 30 lumens of brightness, capable of projecting an image size from 20 inches to 50 inches.

The EPP-CP01 has a wide array of source inputs and supported formats, including VGA direct PC input and an SD card reader with MP3/MP4 A/V playback. It adds a docking home base, allowing for permanent connection to a home or office A/V system, computer or video game system.

The EPP-HH02 ($359 street retail) is also about the size of a pack of cigarettes and includes an internal SD card reader and MP3/MP4 player.

It offers both PAL and NTSC format support, and provides connections to laptop/PCs, DVD players, personal media players, MP4 devices and iPods (the latter using an optional iPod AV cable). It also includes an integrated SD data card reader capable of decoding MP3 and MP4 A/V files and JPEG images.

Image resolution is listed at 640 by 480 with 12 lumens of brightness and a 200:1 contrast ratio. It operates without a cooling fan.

The EPP-HH03 ($349 street retail) handheld video projector has the same form factor as the EPP-HH02, but it substitutes a VGA connection for a built-in SD card reader. The projector offers 640 by 480 resolution and produces 7 lumens of brightness with a 200:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

The EPP-HH03 will project images with screen sizes ranging from 20 to 50 inches diagonally, and features

The projector will support PAL and NTSC source material and includes video and VGA inputs. It operates without a cooling fan for silent operation.
