TCL Unveils 20 Model 2012 LCD TV Lineup

LAS VEGAS —

Chinese TV manufacturer TCL (booth
C10531) will be looking to build its brand name awareness
in the U.S. using an expanded lineup of LCD TVs ranging in
screen sizes from 26 inches to 55 inches.

In total, the company is planning
to ship 20 new models across
eight model classes this year, all
featuring thin cabinet designs,
with step-up units adding 120Hz
and 240Hz refresh rates and IPTV
connectivity.

“Our account base and the U.S.
consumer seem to be looking for
value TVs for all rooms in their
home,” said Tom Chomyn, TCL
U.S. sales manager. “TCL will be
introducing a range of 24-inch to
55-inch class sizes with several
large-screen models using IPTV
to meet the middle-class demand
and the expected connectivity
growth in the U.S. market in 2012.”

Entry products are offered in the P60 and M12 series,
including the slim-design 60Hz CCFL backlit 40-inch
(shipping in March at a $399 suggested retail) P60-series

the 720p 32-inch model have 1080p HD resolution, and
