OmniMount Shipping 'Healthier' TV, Computer Mounts

PHOENIX, ARIZ. — Inspired by the growing research indicating the negative effects of prolonged sitting, OmniMount has begun shipping its new ActionMount series of mounting products designed to promote healthy and comfortable usage of computers and TVs.

The two lines — dubbed Work and Play — consist of five products: two computer mounts (Work15, Work20) and three TV mounts (Play20, Play20X and Play40). Each has sitstand adjustability that encourages consumers to change positions while operating PCs and TVs.

The collection utilizes Ergotron’s patented Constant Force lift and pivot motion technology.

The Work products are designed to provide a computer mount solution that maximizes space and adjusts to the ergonomic needs of different users. According to OmniMount, research has indicated that the simple act of standing has significant health benefits, such as increased metabolic rate and positive effects on other bodily systems. CF technology allows for simple, light-touch adjustments of the keyboard, mouse and monitor, so users can easily move between sitting and standing positions.

The Work15 supports a single monitor up to 15 pounds and Work20 supports two side-by-side monitors up to 20 pounds. Installation is via desk clamp or grommet mounting and cable clips control wires for a clean finish.

The Play products are designed to give TV users a new level of interaction and encourage activities like exercising and gaming. With up to 20 inches of vertical adjustment, users can instantly reposition their TV for the perfect viewing during standing or seated activities. The Play20 and Play20X fit TVs from 19 inches to 32 inches up to 20 pounds and offer vertical travel up to 13 inches.

The Play40 fits TVs from 30 inches to 55 inches up to 40 pounds with 20 inches of vertical travel.

All five SKUs are available and shipping with the following retails: Work15, $380; Work20, $400; Play20, $130; Play20X, $150; and Play40, $300.
