Sonos Moves Music Server Onto Internet, Eliminates Need To Rip, Store Locally
Denver — Sonos is moving music servers out of the home network and onto the Internet to eliminate the need by time-starved consumers to rip CD libraries or download songs to a PC. "Content in the home is becoming less and less important,” sales and marketing VP Tom Cullen contended in announcing a partnership with the RealNetworks.
