Women@Cory Recognition

Secaucus, NJ – Cory Home Delivery, one of the largest and oldest specialized carriers in America, recognizes the following achievements and promotions obtained through its Women@Cory program. 

In 2012, Cory launched the Women@Cory program which provides development and advancement opportunities to women who demonstrate potential, achieve results and express a desire to grow. It is through the Women@Cory program that Shirley Disbrow was promoted to a newly created position of Controller. Shirley, who has been with Cory for 19 years, is a 2017 graduate of Rutgers University and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting and will actively pursue her CPA certification. 

As a 2017 Rutgers Law School graduate and Cory team member for 15 years, Loryn Marino has been promoted to Legal & Compliance Manager. In her new role, Loryn will be responsible for legal matters affecting the company and will manage regulatory compliance. 

Mariela Almanzar has also been promoted to the position of Risk Manager. Mariela has been a team member since 2006 and will be responsible for all insurance requirements and risk administration.   She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting.

Adriana Cartagena has been promoted to Accounting Manager. Adriana has been with Cory for seven years and holds a master degree in accounting.  Adriana will be responsible for client billing, cash management and Cory Home Delivery Service of PR, Inc. accounting matters.

Natalie Hubert has been promoted to HR Generalist, responsible for HR operations, HRIS, benefits administration, and employment/labor relations. Having recently graduated from Pennsylvania State with a Bachelor’s degree in labor and employment relations, Natalie joined Cory less than a year ago. 

Monica Faria has advanced into a newly created HR role as Training and Development manager where she will make significant contributions to our learning culture to better position our team members to grow with us. 

Kacey Duva officially joins Cory as Marketing Administrative Assistant, after completing various projects.  Kacey brings formal trade education in banking and financial services, years of administrative and customer service experience in the healthcare and banking industry. 

Abigaile Pangilinan joins the HR team’s talent acquisition focus as Staff Recruiter.  Having been affiliated with Cory for the past 2 years on various assignments, Abby brings a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University with a major in social work and a minor in psychology. 

Victoria Cuenca has been promoted to Lead Fleet Compliance Specialist and will oversee all fleet-related matters and compliance-related functions.
