TEKSERVE FALLS INTO AUTUMN WITH FREE eWASTE RECYCLING EVENT FOR NEW YORK CITY RESIDENTS ON OCTOBER 3

NEW YORK –Tekserve, a leading New York City provider of technology solutions for creative professionals, declares the look of the fall season is “green” with the announcement of its next eWaste Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, October 3.  The free event, co-hosted by the Lower East Side Ecology Center (Ecology Center), will take place at the Tekserve retail store, located in Chelsea at 119 West 23rd Street in Manhattan, and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.  Not only will the event provide an opportunity for small businesses and non-for-profits to properly recycle electronics in a safe and legal way, it will also provide attendees with the option to update their electronics with the latest fun accessories for fall and beyond.

“Going into our eighth year of working with the Ecology Center, we are proud to continue to provide a venue for those looking to properly recycle their old, non-working and unwanted electronics,” says Albert Garcia, Tekserve Retail Director.  “Attendees will be rewarded for these efforts at our fall event with the opportunity to receive a coupon that will allow them to dress up their existing Apple device with fun accessories.”

Tekserve is also offering a coupon featuring $10 off a $50 purchase or service at Tekserve, or $20 off a $100 purchase or service, to those participating in the eWaste event. In addition, shoppers can also receive an additional $5 off their purchase while redeeming their coupon if they show that they’ve checked in at Tekserve on Facebook (www.facebook.com/Tekserve).

While the eWaste recycling drive is open to all unwanted electronics, Mac® or PC (regardless if they were purchased at the Tekserve store or not), household appliances, such as microwaves and air conditioners, will not be accepted.
